Measure the size of the retainers to be compressed. If the dimensions given don't fit "over/around" the spring clamps you're trying to compress, I'd suggest finding another option. Otherwise you will try to keep the compressor in line/centered with the spring/detent as it will want to be off center. It gets harder as more spring compression is applied and is very unreliable and I would say dangerous. Unless the compression sleeve is slid "over" the valve retainer to keep it self-centering. The size of the compression retainers did not meet my needs. In my opinion they are suitable for small engine valves, ATV's, motorcycles and possibly small car engines with small brackets. Measure clamps. If they fit the dimensions given in the kit, that's a good price and should do the trick.
