Your YJ NEEDS it!

I have an '89 YJ with a '94 "family" roll cage. These pods fit perfectly and sound great with the speakers I've used. Steps: ***Check your speakers first*** 1. Check that the empty pods fit the roll cage. 2. Mark the location on the roll cage bar where the single mounting bolt will be attached. go (I used a silver sharpie marker) 3, remove the pods 4, check the installation of the speakers in the pods 5, now you know your pods will fit the jeep and the speakers will fit the pods, drill You drill a hole in the front of the roll cage at the marked locations 6, mark and pre-drill holes for the speakers 7, drill holes in the back of the speakers for the speaker wire with a step drill or a 1/2" bit (there is a flat spot in the right place)8, thread the speaker wire through the pods with extra slack9, attach the empty pods to the roll cage bar (I used different screws, the screws provided are junk) 10, fill the pods with a bunch of polyester padding/insulation that At your local Jo Anne fabric store (for best sound quality) 11, connect the speakers to the cable and test 12, install the speakers to pods with 4 screws on each side. and swing! I used these speakers: Rockford Fosgate Punch P1692 6 x 9" Full Range Coaxial Speakers
