5x Mode is almost impossible
It does state it has 5 different modes of light ranging from Super Bright, Regular and Low. It also a Strobe effect and a slow pulsing light. However, to engage the different modes especially the Strobe requires practice since it is dependent on how click the button on the bottom of the light. In a high stress situation, it'll be difficult if not impossible to step thru the to get to the right mode.It is very bright and the easy focus from a tight beam to wide angle is very easy to use. If the other modes are not needed, the cost is justifiable.
