Review on Sceptre C248B 144RN: Edge Less FreeSync DisplayPort, Curved Screen, 165Hz, Built-In Speakers, Frameless Design, Blue Light Filter – LED Monitor by Rob Graham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best budget monitor.

I received this monitor on June 8, I ordered it abroad, I paid for fast shipping, so it arrived where I am literally in 3 days. I thought since people were complaining so much about it I would break it since I ordered it from abroad but I was wrong. I received it in perfect condition, I've been playing it every day since I received it. I love it so far. The only bad thing about it is the colors, so you have to play with it A LOT to change it the way you like the colors. Another issue is the buttons on the back of the screen, when you try to change the color settings for a setting the screen turns itself off or the buttons stop working. I didn't think it was a big problem for myself because I knew it wouldn't be perfect. I honestly don't care as long as there are no dead pixels and it works great for gaming. I would give this product 5 stars just because it's a really good monitor and really affordable. If you have some issues with colors and buttons on the back turning the screen off when you change settings, this is perfect. I don't think everyone has this problem, it seems every monitor has it's own problems. But that doesn't matter in the end, because I still managed to get the right colors. If you're still worried about this monitor, I'd say fear not. This is a really good monitor. I've been looking for a good monitor for a long time and here it is. Believe me this is the best you can get for the price. Keep in mind that other more expensive monitors also have issues. No monitor is perfect, every monitor has its own problems, so don't think that buying a "famous brand" or an expensive monitor won't cause problems. Trust me, they all just depend on what you need and what you don't. This monitor has 0 issues when it comes to gaming and refresh rates. The smoothest monitor you can get if you ask me. To be honest, the transition from a 60Hz laptop monitor to this monitor was life changing. The colors and picture on my HP laptop monitor are rubbish compared to this monitor.
