This is an amazing device. Just plug it in and it works. Pairing with two Bluetooth headsets was perfect and very fast the first time. When I first connected it to my Chromebook it went straight into pairing mode, so I set up the first headset. It took about 10 seconds to search and pair. I pressed the button for 5 seconds and it went back into pairing mode and the second headset was ready to use. Turned on the video and BAM! Crystal clear sound from both headsets with no noticeable latency. I took off my headset and the sound suddenly stopped. The? My headsets can connect directly to my phone or laptop via Bluetooth: if I remove the headset, everything I see or hear pauses. If I put them back on, they reappear. I put my headset back on and BAM! the show started again. Wow, features I didn't think were supported by this adapter. Cool! So before purchasing the adapter I asked if this Revain Fire Cube adapter is supported. Of course, someone who probably doesn't even own one of these adapters said NO, this won't work. Well I'm here to tell you he's misinformed and dead wrong. I plugged it into my original Fire Cube first, as it comes natively with a USB-A port, and my headsets immediately came to life with sound. I then dug out my micro USB to USB adapter and plugged it into my Kindle Fire. Instant sound again. Fire Cube (1st & 2nd editions) - Yes! Even my Fire Stick with a special adapter. Apparently, Revain has her stuff. It sees it as a normal audio device and starts outputting immediately. YES, THIS WILL DISABLE AUDIO TRANSMISSION VIA HDMI, just like when you connect a Bluetooth device directly to a Fire device. The only difference is that I can connect 2 headsets to this adapter while all Fire devices, my phone and laptop only allow you to connect one headset at a time. It works, it's reliable, and it's very easy to set up. . Just buy it! FYI, I didn't give tech support a star rating because I didn't need to contact tech support (well!)
