Review on 🕯️ Glo Brite by 21st Century L392ACL Lite Hearted Clear Glass Oil Lamp: Illuminate Your Space with Elegance by Steve Linquist

I bought this lamp for my wife as a present. It's totally useless! When I first poured oil into the base of the lamp, the oil came out at the bottom. After cleaning up the mess, I examined the lamp and saw that there was a seam on the glass base that had a gap in it. It is clear that the manufacturer of this lamp does not have quality control, otherwise this defect would appear immediately. I am 78 years old and this is the first glass jar to leak in my entire life. Because of this defect, and the fact that the product came to me as a consumer without proper testing or inspection, I do not recommend the product or the company that manufactures and sells it. Update May 18, 2017: After submitting this review, I have submitted a report to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (Report #20170518-D66DF-2147400414) outlining the safety risks associated with the use of this product. Due to the leaking oil container (font) it is likely that if I struck a match to light this lamp it and the oil on my countertop would burst into flames. This oil lantern is made in China and imported by 21st Century, Inc. US importers.
