I liked this style with prongs all over the band not just at the end because it's more durable. No matter how careful you are, teeth will be knocked out when using this type of snake. Others must be thrown away. This allows you to cut it a little shorter and reuse it. I easily pulled the clog out and the drain progressed quickly. I was able to get an extra foot behind the block and decided I had it all figured out. very easy. I would take a picture but you don't want to see it. I didn't have to use the metal handle, but I threw it in my toolbox - I know it will come in handy for other purposes around the house, like picking up dropped screws in tight spaces.
