Review on Akamino Tofu Press Removes Pressing by Tim Wadman

I wasn't sure if the other type of tofu press (with clamps on the side) would fit different sizes of tofu, so I bought this one. I often buy direct from the tofu manufacturer, which comes in large rectangular blocks rather than standard boxes, so this press works well for tofu of various shapes. Turning the screws is a bit fiddly, but at least it holds the pressure well. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, otherwise the tofu will "tear” on the inside.
