I didn't expect my power amp to draw power during my first desert retreat - even when it's turned off. I'm glad I tried to start my van the day before I left and was then able to flag down a passing pickup to make the jump. When you're 25 miles away in the desert and out of cell phone range, details like these matter. But after removing the fuse at the beginning of my third retreat, I found that the set screws that clamp the 8 gauge wire were very loose in their holes. The editing was very poor - the holes were overwritten. I was about to replace that old retract fuse holder this year when I found this circuit breaker. Now I can just throw out the circuit breaker and don't have to fiddle with the fuse. But I had to apply silicone sealant to make this circuit breaker waterproof. The original red O-rings that came with the broken chain were made for much smaller than 8 gauge wire.
