Bought because it was cheap and had good reviews. For the price it does what you would expect; There is nothing to write home about. There are no frills with this fan. It is very easy to assemble (took me about 10 minutes). There are a few things to consider before purchasing this fan - it is very loud. The fan is very powerful, so even at the lowest speed it sounds like a small airplane. When it's up, it sounds like a wind tunnel in your room. Also, the power cord is very short. My outlet is probably 3 feet from where my fan is supposed to be and it barely reached it and the cord is now hanging in the air. The fan base is also ridiculously large. In general everything is fine. does what i need But looking back I wouldn't buy it again.
