Very happy with how well this dehumidifier pulls moisture out of the air. I have it in my bedroom and it keeps the mildew smell out of this room as well as the attached bathroom and large closet. It's extremely efficient; Maintaining humidity levels up to 50%. I sleep much more comfortably at night and the noise level is actually lower than the standing fan in my room. Since it's in the bedroom I can't drain it with the hose that came with the kit, but due to the larger (about 4 gallon) catch bucket amidst the heat and humidity in late August early September I was only able to empty it all 5-6 hours. I especially like the auto shut off when the bucket is full and the fact that the unit will shut down when the humidity level is a little below the set level and start up again automatically when the humidity level in the room rises. Hopefully it will work well over time but for now I'm very happy with this purchase.
