The first humidifier shipped had a problem with the fan at maximum speed so we had to replace it. The second is excellent. It quickly wicks moisture from the air and, although bulky and heavy, is easy to move with the wheels mounted underneath. Setting the desired humidity is very easy and stops automatically when the set humidity is reached. It was cheaper than some of the competition and I'm glad I bought it!

Bought for growing plants in the basement. It was too strong for the room and too warm. I ended up using it outside the room. The entire basement is now dry. I run it through the drain in the floor with a hose. When I first plugged it in, I thought the drain hose I bought didn't have a rubber seal. The tank filled up. I saw a bottom disc attached to the hose and this prevented the detachable reservoir from filling. Don't buy a cheap device without the power of a star. You may end up paying more

Very happy with how well this dehumidifier pulls moisture out of the air. I have it in my bedroom and it keeps the mildew smell out of this room as well as the attached bathroom and large closet.
