Review on 🌱 Evapo-Rust: The Ultimate Super Safe Rust Remover in 5 Gallon Size - Water-based, Non-Toxic, and Biodegradable by Travis Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I HATE writing reviews BUT.

This is just amazing! If you're lazy or don't have time to spend hours grinding rust, this is your answer. I've written maybe 3 reviews in my entire life and this stuff is worthy of a review! I use it to remove rust from old bench press kettlebells, works like a charm. Only thing is it takes time, don't think you can remove 20 year old rust in two minutes, give it 12-24 hours (depending on how bad the rust is) and it will look like new! I buy the 5 gallon size and my goodness I need it, it says you can use it over and over again but every time you use it you'll find it lasts a little longer after about 3 heavy uses( massive rusty parts filled to the brim). . the top of the bucket) slows down a lot and the product, at least in my copy, turns black (probably because of the paint on the weights, I suspect). As for the color, yes, it seems to be coming off a bit? But seriously, it's hard to tell because there is so much rust on these weights that I'm not sure how much black paint was there originally. Really just seems to attack rust. Oh, and it seems ridiculously safe, very faint odor, but I'll say it has a very faint sulfur (rotten egg) smell, but, as I said, very faint and barely noticeable (also, one of the charges escaped me and splashed into a bucket and that crap went everywhere including my face and nothing happened at all just wiped it off and went about its business). Yellowish color, like bad beer. Also the beauty of this stuff is that you can just leave your project there for as long as you like for 2, 3 or 4 days, no side effects after rust removal, it just sits there waiting for your next project. and it will leave only bare metal with no rust. Do yourself a favor and buy more! If you're like me, you'll start to find tons of metal tools and stuff around the house that has rust. PS You need to soak at least the rusty area and leave it under water for a long time, so this material is NOT suitable for tables, chairs and very large items.
