I've had this pen for a few weeks now. The quality seems good to me and I had no trouble tearing the clip off. I just pushed it and it clicked into place. Now we can easily slide the seat forward or recline in our 2009 Long Cab Chevy 3500 HD. It was definitely worth the money.
