Review on With Sticky Paws XL Sheets, Say Goodbye to Unwanted Pet Scratches! by Pamela Moore

I bought the XL version of this item - 9x12 sheets. It works (sort of), but I actually prefer the smaller strips of tape. I put them on a corner of our bed because the cat likes to scratch the mattress there. First, you have to be very careful when applying it to make sure it sticks firmly to the surface of whatever you're applying it to. The first sheet I put on wasn't firmly glued to a corner, so when I removed the backing, that corner came loose and stuck to the rest of the sheet. If this happens, don't try to fix it - I messed up the whole sheet trying to straighten it out again. Second, I found that our cat could pull them out of the mattress (well, sheets on the mattress) which in turn caused the sticking and subsequent irritation mentioned above. All in all it was like a waste of money. The best tape I've found is SmartyKat Scratch Not Anti-Scratch Tape Scratch Barrier; seems to stick best.
