Decent product, not the best.

I urgently needed a repellent for my cat! This idiot keeps scratching EVERYTHING. Well we got a new sofa and I was trying to avoid the infamous scratches. I thought it was a great invention but I soon noticed that the fine print said the linens should be changed WEEKLY. What is funny. Who can afford to buy those tacky things for the life of your furniture?!? I glue a few pieces, after a few days they started falling off. My cat used it too and stole it too. He licked her too. I will finish this

Too thin to stay on

I was looking for big sticky pads to cover the corners of sofas so I didn't have to use a whole roll of double sided tape. They were so thin it was difficult to keep them on the couch even when I put them on. If you accidentally touch them, they will stick to your finger, blanket or pants. My cat doesn't like them but she decided anyway that she would vomit 2 of them through her mouth in 2 days. Once that happens, it sticks to itself so you can't stretch it to put it back on. And I think she…

Cats hate this Best of Cats

I use these on my upholstered furniture because I have 3 cats with claws. You don't like them! I love her. The furniture in my living room is over 30 years old and without Sticky Paws I would have had to replace it. I'll admit the cats have done so much damage over time that these sheets serve the added purpose of holding the pads together in places. It's not like they scratched those sheets, but sometimes someone gets ripped off - stuck to a leg or a Christmas present - and goes unnoticed for…

Cats eat it - not good!

First, they are very difficult to attach. The film is very thin and sticky and tends to stick to fingers, the surface and itself rather than furniture. I applied it very carefully, but it was a challenge. I lost 2 at once because they stuck together and ended up in a ball. The other one passed my husband quite easily as he passed the couch. So it was 3 down in just a few hours. I forced other chopsticks - but then my 4 month old cat happily pulled it off the sofa with her teeth and dragged it…

regret not buying it sooner

I just bought a new mattress and before it was delivered I knew I had to make sure my cat didn't destroy this expensive purchase! I regret not trying sticky paws sooner as my current mattress has been scratched to shreds over the years. I'm a pushover and let my cat get used to scratching the corner before jumping on my bed. I stuck this sticker over the torn area because I didn't think it would change my cat's long-ingrained habit. Alternatively, I also placed a cardboard sheet on the floor…

Large sheets easily come off

I bought the XL version of this item - 9x12 sheets. It works (sort of), but I actually prefer the smaller strips of tape. I put them on a corner of our bed because the cat likes to scratch the mattress there. First, you have to be very careful when applying it to make sure it sticks firmly to the surface of whatever you're applying it to. The first sheet I put on wasn't firmly glued to a corner, so when I removed the backing, that corner came loose and stuck to the rest of the sheet. If this…

TAKE this stuff - 5 sofas, 1 sofa and 4 cats

Other comments 8/2/18: I also used this on an expensive leather chair from WS Home in bonded or other treated leather!). Pulling it off to replace the b/c dirt collection was an issue as usual, but didn't damage the leather surface, although some sticky muck was left behind. A skin cleanser/moisturizer will remove it easily. I love these things. FYI, I bought a bench that's upholstered in brushed leather (like the popular cowhide floor coverings) and cats don't scratch it AT ALL. covered in…

Excellent in theory; didn't work as expected in my house.

I hate giving it only 3 stars as I'm sure it has worked for many cats. In theory, this is a really great product. I give it three stars mainly for how ineffective it is for my specific needs. My kitty finally learned to jump on the kitchen table. I don't care where they're allowed to go, but the kitchen counter is the only place they're strictly forbidden. My older boy never bothered to jump in so this is my first time dealing with a cat that has access to an area they are not allowed to enter.
