I was nervous that they wouldn't really fit my shoes because I have road shoes that I put Wellgo Cycling Shimano SPD shoe adapters on but luckily these pedals work with them. ! On my home spin bike, the pedals were easy to change with a wrench and after a few rides I still felt safe. They were also great value compared to what I thought I'd have to order since my spin bike came with regular sneaker pedals (rather than a hybrid that allows for such SPD clamps) . The guide is helpful because it explains that you can adjust the clamp tension on the pedal to perfectly match your cleats - I didn't read them at first and they felt loose so I went back and tightened the clamp . screw and they were perfect! I haven't had to tighten since, but it would be easy to adjust if needed. Overall I'm a fan and happy to be able to use my bike with these pedals and the Peloton app to get the Peloton experience without the price of a Peloton bike and subscription. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cheaper option!
