I know this is going to sound stupid, but our Maltese is an absolute demon to walk. He pulls, barks, tries to bite and lunge his body at people. When someone walks by, the sirens go off. He has also become quite the escape artist over the years. As you could probably tell, it was quite embarrassing to walk with him, but this thing was a life saver! Yes, he still barks but he no longer lunges as much and the control you get with this thing is crazy! It’s very easy to hold and when your dog does pull it the cushioned handle definitely helps with the rope burn. You could also walk your dog hands-free with this thing if you tie it around your waist, which is great for hiking or going on a jog! Also, our Maltese is notorious for tearing things up and this has to stand the test of time! Overall, I cannot recommend this leash enough!
