Review on 🌿 Acacia Wood Swivel Cover Salt or Spice Box, 3-1/2'' x 2-1/2'' by Lipper International by Kevin Singleton

I had a similar bamboo salt shaker, but a guest in my kitchen couldn't figure out how to remove the lid and tried to take it off vertically before I realized what he was doing; After that, the lid kept swaying. I'm moving so thought it would be a good time to replace it. I chose it for the rich look of acacia wood. It's slightly smaller than the one it replaces, but still large enough that it doesn't need to be refilled often. I'm happy enough with it not to return it but a bit disappointed with the workmanship; it's no less expensive than the one it replaced, but this one isn't as well made as this one. Although the lid fits well, it scratches a bit when opening and the edges are a bit rough, especially on the inside. I would like it to be polished more finely before shipping. Also, there was a big scratch on the wood that may have been across the grain in transit, so it's really noticeable. I'll try to lubricate the box, maybe it will help. Overall not bad but I would definitely send it back if it was intended as a gift.
