Review on πŸ”§ Efficiently Tap and Drill with Du Bro 360 2 56 Drill Bit by John Brazington

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be very light about it!

I use this kit for 1/64 scale diecast car modifications. The metal I'm tapping on isn't the hard, soft metal used on Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. The drill cut off after about 10 uses, became dull after 5 holes. The crane itself lived a little longer, but suffered the same fate. I am careful when winding to avoid braking or stressing the tool, even with careful handling and lubrication I still managed to break the tap and vice versa! I use finger pressure to avoid over turning the faucet. I removed the lever bar/pin from the tap holder to avoid over tightening the tool. Unless you hit plastic, spend a little more money and get a sturdier tool!

  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
