These are very attractive coasters and are excellent at absorbing moisture from fogged glass but be careful as the water they hold can affect the finish of the wood finish. It was on my table. Also if you have colored liquid on the outside of the glass such as B. coffee, it will soil the coasters as they are mostly light colored. The worst thing about these coasters is that they can stick to the bottom of the glass if they soak up a lot of liquid and if you don't realize it, the coaster will suddenly fall off the glass. When they fall on the ground, they usually break. I've had two halvings so far.
