I am completely satisfied with this shoe. My use is light treadmill running and CrossFit style workouts. I've been running 5-10 miles a week for a few weeks and now I'm running them 5 times a week. They broke up very well. I have large, wide feet and I wear my laces loose, which is typical for most athletic shoes that aren't E+ wide. They have thin soles and grippy rubber. They are a stable base for lifting. I used to take my shoes off to squat or deadlift, but I don't do that anymore. It's a rural winter with bad roads so I haven't tried running them outside yet. The treadmill I run on has some cushioning and I ran a full 6 miles straight and felt fine. In this regard, lighter runners can do better than me. I'm a tank - 5ft 11" and 220, built to lift heavy things rather than run very far. I think running the pavement in them would take a heavy toll on my knees for well over a mile or two. There's no way I would trail run in them. Completely unsuitable shoes for it. But for a Crossfit and WoDs style lift?
