I think most transmission owners are familiar with standard worm gear clamps: their inevitable hose cutting, frequent failure if overtightened, and tendency to rust when exposed to the elements are. As you can see from the picture, the AAS injector clamp has a solid band that eliminates cuts from the slotted worm gear band. Not clearly visible in the picture is the band of the fuel injector clamps that protrude from the hose, which prevents the sharp corner of the band from digging into and possibly cutting the hose. Finally, I suspect that most of us have deformed the worm gear clamp when trying to tighten it in hard-to-reach places. That's not the case with the fuel injector clamp: its nut and bolt tensioning system tightens the band wings as tight as necessary (a must with fuel injector lines). I use these clamps on my bike and in the cage, both for fuel and oil. lines; I've never broken a clamp or cut a hose with it. Ed
