Rhodia has the smoothest and most absorbent paper of any notebook I've tried. If you use brushes and felt-tip pens, then this notebook is for you. The paper is thin and flexible but will not push through most writing implements, especially fine arts, even with very ink-rich markers like the Stabilo Boss. It's also absorbent enough that some pens won't smear even if you apply highlighter right away (check out the Micron and Fudenosuke pictures). 90 gsm, I bought 120 gsm), and yet the Rhodia far outperforms even the most expensive laptops. I use fewer pen tips, I never run or smudge in normal use. Highly recommended.
