Works great - EXCEPT doesn't work in direct sunlight

I got this to replace my old Socket Scan Laser and clunky old Book Scout PDA so I could just use my phone instead. This works really well at thrift stores, but if you're going out in the sun for a flea market, forget it. It's not a real laser, it's a red light, only a real laser works in sunlight, but it's fast and works great indoors. It's good for the price and I rarely see other scanners on sale so I just use my phone to scan when I'm in the sun. Otherwise it's great. You can turn off the sound which is nice. I want them to do one with a laser that works in the sun. If anyone knows a real laser that works outdoors and can turn off the buzzer please comment and name it. Many Thanks
