I got this to replace my old Socket Scan Laser and clunky old Book Scout PDA so I could just use my phone instead. This works really well at thrift stores, but if you're going out in the sun for a flea market, forget it. The only problem I have is that when I turn off Bluetooth on my phone, I want it to automatically pair back to my PC. At the moment I can't figure out how to do this and if it's possible.
