Amazing what the right concrete drill can do! It ate about 10 inches of masonry/concrete in about 2 minutes on my standard impact drill. I used my trusty old Hitachi DV18DL impact drill (it lasts 8-9 years at the moment) with this nasty bit and punched through this concrete wall. I used it to install the outer sleeve. The total cost of the project was only $90. It would cost a plumber over $300 to make some cuts, crimp some fittings, and crawl underground. Actually, I don't mind playing around in the basement. It's quiet here, and your wife and children won't follow you there! :) The total project time was about 3 hours and now it just got a lot easier with this drill that allows you to work in concrete quickly. This is a great exercise and I have several other projects for it. At least the first time it was drilled, it went through without any problems, as is advertised with a real impact drill.
