It's funny because in the picture the sides look like they're about 2 inches thick because of the added rib, but the inner insert is foam rubber and it's about 2.5 cm thick. it doesn't shed anymore and it always looks like a sticker from the side when you look at it but when you press it or look at it or stick it on it's paper thin, I'm very very disappointed, save your money
