Review on 🏠 Pro-Tec Rubber Roof Patch Kit by Camco - 2-inch by Victor Ceja

I hammered a nail out of the roof and pierced the rubber membrane. So I hammered the nail back in and followed all the instructions in that kit. Since my hole was the size of a nail I cut the patch in 3 pieces and used a 4x6 patch to try to patch the hole. I followed the instructions to the letter. The patch didn't even think to stick, it just collected a layer of white dust (even after washing with alcohol wipes). So I showered again. Water, scrub, alcohol, scrub, rinse water, alcohol, dry completely. Apply the patch. Stuck a bit and then started bullying in the corners. I sealed the edges with silicone. Hopefully MY silicone will hold the patch in place but I feel like I should have just put some caulk on the hole and hoped for the best instead of wasting the time and money on a kit.
