I bought this to see the 10th June 2021 solar eclipse and it was amazing! Since this telescope is not designed for observing the sun, I bought a solar filter for the telescope and everything was fine. I also observed the moon and stars with different lens combinations. Although the magnification is not very high, it is good for beginners. I like the phone holder feature that allows you to take pictures through your phone. although the holder could be made stronger. The Scope Finder is also a nice addition. I plan to take it with me on my next trip!
