So I Was First Determined to return these. They seemed too small for the masks I bought from Stark. I had never used cord locks before and had no idea what I was doing. Then I saw the review saying they used a paper clip to thread the ear loops through the cord lock. Well, I don't have paperclips, but I did have bobby pins! It took some effort, but for those of you who aren't smart, here's what I did: 1. Put the bobby pin on the ear loop2. He pressed the cord lock and inserted an invisible bobby pin. At this point, the earhook still won't go through.3. I used my teeth (you can also use a gripping tool like pliers but I worked with what I had) to pry out the rest of the earhook.
