Review on Archer C20 Wireless Dual Band Router by TP-LINK - IEEE 802.11ac Ethernet with AC750 for Improved Internet Performance by Hongseok Bak ᠌

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I couldn't muster the energy or the patience to observe how the 2.4 GHz band of the Wi-Fi spectrum operates, so I installed this router in my house instead. Due to the fact that there are approximately 20 sites caught around, the wifi connection is very unstable. Only one room has been tested, but the results indicate a loss of approximately 30 Mbps. At the same time, if the speed was even more or less adjacent to the router, then the quality of the same video on YouTube stubbornly decreased to 480p in the far rooms. After increasing the frequency of the Archer C20 to 5 GHz, the speed was greatly improved. Because the inhabitants of our home have not yet mastered this frequency, there are virtually no interferences occurring at this time. Absolutely, and there is no question that having three antennas is advantageous. Regrettably, this version does not come with a USB port, which was a minor letdown but did not play a role in the decision-making process in any way. Everything is properly configured without any issues, the admin panel is easy to use, and those who have previously used routers manufactured by this firm will find that it is also very familiar. In general, an extremely beneficial fundamental solution for the cost.

Pros
  • Compatibility for the 5GHz band, three antennas, and a straightforward configuration.
Cons
  • There is not a USB port to be found.
