This is an exact and perfect replacement for the factory part. It didn't take any hard work to replace it - just some wd40 and some elbow grease. My rods were fine. Both ball joints were about to literally fall apart. Even by car was less than 50,000. Factory bushings were in good condition. Keep the old levers and press the new bushings and ball joints into the machine shop so you have a spare. A replacement at a local dealership is $10 for ball joints (with mirrors) and not much more for bushings. Good product, well packaged. The device has no mirrors in the ball bearings, so it is possible not to lubricate the ball bearings.
