I'm so glad we bought this. First we bought the smallest one for our parrots, it's actually too small. So we bought the next size up and it's perfect. I like that there is a smooth surface at the top where the balls of her feet are. So the pumice stone doesn't cause bad blisters. Our birds aren't fully tamed yet, so we can't clip their claws. It helps a lot. They also like to bite. I didn't think he could handle so much abuse. But it is so. Now we have 4 of them in the cage and they prefer them to other perches we have in the cage. I didn't give any stars for cleaning because nobody got pooped on. We will continue to buy them.
