Freedom of movement is best in dogs

This is a great option when loud yelling is no longer effective. We have a couple of fur babies who are doing very well in the home. They knew what was expected of them. But when we go outside it seems like they went wild and never trained. Between squirrels, birds and the occasional butterfly, they are known to just let their instincts take over and run away when not on a leash. So what you can say is keep your dog on a leash or a yard fence. I tie my dogs up and I have a fence. But when I'm on a family vacation that's a few acres of open country we happily let the dogs out. This is a great way to extend the line without pushing it back with the horn. They love their freedom, but I want them to have limits. They get close to half a mile, which is more than I've ever tested. But I do know that it does more than my voice does, or at least does, if you want to "selectively" listen and have fun. There are different modes. I've only used the beep mode so far and they are very responsive as they associate the beep with a treat. I love that I can give dogs that sense of freedom without having to worry about them going too far too quickly.
