By the way , I'm fairly new to embroidery. I needed something to calm me down at night to avoid looking at the phone. It was quite fun for a newbie. The kit has everything needed for each embroidery piece, including one hoop for each - other kits I've seen come with just one hoop It also comes with 2 large needles for each design I have needles but they are smaller and won't be able to get this thick embroidery thread in them The included scissors and needle threader work very well and at least from what I made there is enough thread to cover the entire design.The design is water soluble although I just covered it with thread have to avoid wetting the fabric. I've found that when my hands get a little sweaty or something, the color of the design seeps into the thread a bit, turning the lighter thread into a bluish tint. I think my biggest issue with this set is the lack of instructions. Some very basic ones are provided but are quite confusing and require at least a basic knowledge of embroidery terminology in my opinion. On the plus side, I have Google and YouTube and just checked out the tutorials. As long as you can do that, this is a good start.
