This is for backup signalling, not backup light options. It works exactly as described but there is room for improvement. The 'head' appears to be much larger than needed for backup signaling, making it a larger target for pebbles or other road debris (only time will tell). Because it's made of black plastic, it gets very hot in direct sunlight. The beep is much faster than what you hear on heavy device, making it a bit more annoying than it needs to be to get attention. Luckily in my case (a motorhome with limited rear view) I use it briefly at campsites where passers-by are not always careful. Being able to turn it off with a switch is a nice touch, but a remote control would be even better. One star off because the head is too big.
