I came here and read a lot of negative reviews about this cheese grater and still decided to buy it and everything the negative reviews warned about came true. cheap and poorly designed and I'm returning it to invest in a better product. The grater barrel itself is too small so when grating cheese it sticks to itself and completely clogs in the barrel which is literally impossible to clean and you end up pulling out bits of cheese instead of grated cheese. Also, it's literally impossible to clean this thing. Cheese is clogged at the very top of the cylinder and even after soaking it in hot water and Dawn dish soap all night I can't get it out. This is after spending 20 minutes picking it out with a butter knife. It's very cheap and thin. As soon as I unpacked it, I realized I had made a mistake. The handle will rotate if you don't use enough force when rubbing. There are unnecessarily many nooks and crannies for cheese to get stuck in, and you have to find other tiny kitchen utensils to get them out. Don't buy this. I know thousands of positive and enticing reviews but you will regret this purchase.
