We bought these shoes in black for our 17 month old baby. There were a few issues from the start, mainly due to the baby iti: they scratch fairly easily as the patent is on the toe of the shoe, and the mary jane style and small amount of velcro means they split them in two Parts can take off. seconds and throw them anywhere. But they are cute, which I guess is to be expected. The main problem with shoes stems from the above problem. Not only can she easily take off her shoes, but she can also take out the insoles. They don't stick to shoes. This means both the main cushioning insert and the underlying "flex" insert. WHAT SHE DID. We can't find the insoles anywhere and the shoes are totally unwearable without them as there is no cushioning or even any lining. Not good for $50 kids shoes. We can't be the only ones this happens to, can we? Shops have to sell the supplement? Should Best Buy sell the insert? Should Pediped sell it? nope We can waste our time calling customer service and then paying $2 for new inserts. We will no longer buy flex shoes. The See Kai Run shoes are just as cute, if not cuter, and much more durable and comfortable for toddlers.
