Review on Large Kayak J Rack Car Cradle by Johnnie Trimble
Mine didn't look like the picture.
The struts I received look like "Universal J-Stands" not the "big ones" as pictured. (I don't have the plastic strap holder pictured at the end of the "J" and the portion of the clip that is visible in the picture is different from what I received.) My kayak didn't fit so I ordered larger frames. It will not fit the 2013 Ford Escape roof rack. The screws were too long and chipped the paint on the car. Even with the shorter screws, it was still difficult to attach the posts.
