This is normal. The white apron is nice, arrived clean and looks good. He is skinny. They're both flimsy and cheaply made, but they look good and I'd love to give them as an original gift. The black apron I received was not very good. If I can clean it I can still gift it if I can't find anything better, but they were supposed to be a set so I'm not sure I can use this as a gift at all. I posted photos. There is a spot of red ink on the edge of the black apron. White letters appear dull. I think it has to do with the black fabric peeking out but also with the pile. There are also places where the straps from another apron appear to have left marks on the print on this apron. This may have happened during packing or shipping because the black skirt was placed behind the white skirt. I was looking for ink residue on a white apron and couldn't find it (just lint from a black apron). The letters on the black apron are also slightly blurred at the edges, but this is only noticeable up close. Generally they are ok from a distance but not great.
