I'm a medical professional and I use this microphone to dictate my notes. This has made my life a lot easier as I often write notes from home. Dictating my notes instead of typing them has saved me so much time. The microphone is of good quality as it accurately transcribes my words with a few exceptions. It has a USB input that I plug directly into my Mac mini USB-C USB Extender. The cord is long enough to extend a reasonable distance from the desk if needed, and it comes with a handy stand to keep it in place.
