For my work truck I keep a set of custom built heavy duty 2/0 jumper cables, but for my commuter car I just wanted a small light set of cables to keep in the trunk for emergencies. My problem was that most of the jumper cables for sale at my local auto parts retailer were either total junk (10 ga ?!?! seriously) or overpriced 4 gauge cables costing $80 and up.I figured I'd order a set of these THIKPO 16 foot 6 gauge cables and give them a try, and upon opening the box and looking at them, I'm impressed. They not only met my expectations but exceeded them. All the crimps are neat, the insulation is good quality, the clamps are nice and sturdy, and even though the cable is copper clad aluminum, THIKPO is honest and does not falsely advertise them as "pure copper" or try to hide it in the fine print like many other sellers on ebay. The cables meet my minimum amperage requirements, and for the application I'll be using them for "good enough is good enough". For under $20 I don't think you can't beat 'em and even if I never need them in an emergency, that's cheap insurance!
