This is the first ultrawide monitor I've owned, so I can't really compare it to other models, but it's a game changer for my workday. I'm a developer and when I'm working on a project I might have 5 windows open. My IDE, terminal window, database tool, browser and browser inspector are my default. I usually have email and Slack open. However, with my old settings, I could really only see two of them at a time. With this monitor and my laptop's display, I can easily see 4 of them at the same time. And thanks to the screen's aspect ratio, I can see more in each window, so it doesn't have to be as wide. I understand why a lot of people prefer curved displays of this size, because when I need to turn off my Mac, when I look at the top left corner of the display, it seems pretty far away. I believe the curved display will help with that. I could also see some people saying the font is small but I have great eyesight so that's actually a big plus for me. I find it odd that the displayport cable that came with the display didn't work. with my mid 2014 Mac Book Pro. I'm not sure what the problem is because I just used HDMI and everything is fine. Not enough trouble to lose stars. In general, if I knew how much more productive a display like this would make me, I would have spent money to buy this display a long time ago. I will most likely buy one for my home office.
