Review on 🐾 Tough 1 Leather Dog Harness by Corey Vaz

Description does not match actual product

I bought this tag because it said "little pony". A pony is classified as a horse from 34 inches to 14.2 hands. The miniature horse is classified as a horse under 34 inches. However, I felt it safe to assume that Tough1 and the tackle shop that sells this product are aware of this simple fact about ponies and miniature horses and that a "small pony" harness will fit a horse over 34 inches, but most likely under 10 Hands. The description also had a few details about the bridle and girth. The bridle was described as being adjustable up to 36 inches. That's definitely not true. The bridle only fits up to 30 inches. You can push in 2 more inches by punching holes, but there's barely room for 1 more hole on each side, giving you 32 inches. My little pony is 36 inches and it didn't even come close to fitting him. All of that was not enough. The bridle had to be adjusted as described and it fit. The girth goes up to 58 inches, but there's little to no room to increase the length by punching holes, so don't expect to get much more girth room if needed. The tracks were about 2 feet shorter on each side. 8 inches is too short and the pants were about 10 inches shorter. This is definitely made for a miniature horse, not a small pony as described. Now there are some nice touches to this harness if you buy the right size for the right size. Horse. The leather is very soft and of high quality. It's a well made set although I wish they had used brass fittings. While the overcheck is on the short side, it is removable so it can be replaced or removed when not needed, which is nice. The lines are very thin skin, and the marks are just a single layer of skin, which of course isn't very durable.
