Review on πŸ•―οΈ Incandescent Equivalent Control for Candle-Like Lighting by Tracy Nuy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just installed in outdoor light

I just installed them. I thought two wouldn't work but I just found out I have to spin them really hard. Four bulbs come with two remote controls, but one remote control works with all four bulbs. I leave a plastic strip in the second remote to conserve the watch's battery. The remote seems to work from about 20 feet away, but you have to point it at the bulbs. Regular white looks almost exactly like a regular incandescent bulb, while orange is a nice warm alternative. The dimmer has three settings: low, medium and high, and roughly what you want for the range. The fade setting (crossfade across the color spectrum) is very smooth and takes 40 seconds to repeat and would be fun to use at Christmas. my doorbell, etc., but I couldn't justify $16 or $50 a bulb for eleven B12 or E12 outdoor bulbs. It seems like a super cheap alternative at $4 a bulb. I have a programmable timer that controls all 13 streetlights - 11 E12s and 2 canopies. My plan for the future is to keep this switch on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, replace all the E12s with these, set the timer from the remote to 5pm and replace two lights with Hue so you will activated by a motion sensor with a ring. Doorbell with IFTTT. This gives me 90% of the functionality I want at a much lower cost. This requires the lamp timers to be reset a few times a year as the sunset changes from summer to winter.
