
Great little box running GNU/Linux. Here's how in 12 minutes with a few simple steps1. Create a bootable USB stick with your preferred distribution2. Connection to Nuc3. Connect a USB keyboard/mouse or a wireless USB keyboard/mouse (e.g. Logitech)4. enable5. Touch the ESC key to open the BIOS6 menu. Assign any password settings, etc., then select the USB device as the first boot device7. save and exit 8. Boot into a GNU/Linux installation (I used the latest version of Ubuntu Desktop)9. Installation - about 12 minutes, another 10 minutes if you want updates10. ready! Wi-Fi, HDMI display, sound, etc. are configured automatically, set up a tigervnc server and use the Ubuntu Startup App client to enable VNC on boot! networked, headless GNU/Linux system that can also be rebooted to the nightmarish MSFT operating system
