I've recently started buying more everyday jewelry (particularly rings) in stainless steel rather than sterling silver. At least in my opinion the two metals are indistinguishable at first glance, but stainless steel wears much better and you don't have to worry about wearing it all the time. It's cheaper but more durable than sterling, and doesn't bend or scratch as easily—it retains its shine more easily and doesn't tarnish, stain my fingers weird colors, or cause rashes like some base metals. . like brass do. One particular thing I love about this ring is the attention to detail. If you look closely, you'll notice that both hands on the ring have a well-placed wrist bulge! Be careful touching your hair or wearing lace when wearing it as your thumbs seem to catch on the ring. Overall though, this is a great everyday item, especially for the price!
