Review on ☕ Bodum 11571-109 Pour Over Coffee Maker with Permanent Filter - 34oz/1L Glass Carafe & Cork Band by Johanna Romero

I know this is probably one of the hottest ways to make coffee these days. But the truth is, when I was a little girl, my dad had a very similar coffee maker. what he cooks first thing in the morning and after dinner. I enjoyed the ritual of watching him prepare coffee by pouring it. When April came around and I was looking for birthday gift ideas, I wanted something that would come in handy and that wasn't very expensive. So I thought about my coffee habit. I don't drink much coffee, but I love coffee. From my Keurig, French press, regular dripper, etc. Thought this would make a nice addition to my coffee family. There is a more expensive well known brand that is very similar in looks and style to this one. I didn't want to invest until I knew what I wanted. I chose this one based on the price, looks and reviews. Now that I've had it for a few months, I see no reason to take anything else. For me it is easy to clean. One thing to keep in mind is to rinse it right after using it. I love that the cork is 100% removable for easy cleaning. Vinegar and a soft brush and it's good as new. This item comes with a measuring spoon and a reusable filter, which I really liked. I tried the paper filters that came with this pack just to see if there was a difference in taste/quality and to be honest neither my guests nor I noticed a difference to justify using paper filters alone would. But then again, I'm new to this game, so maybe I'm missing some nuances of flavor, color, or something else. All in all, this polishing machine is a complete set. If you are about to embark on a 'spirit life', looking for your own spirits maker, gift etc, I don't see how you can go wrong with this particular item.
