A top-notch item made by a reputable company. Although Charge 4 has more bass, I preferred Flip's sound more. Flip also plays better and has an equal amount of volume reserve to Charge 4. I had originally intended to take Charge 4, so it's excellent that we were able to directly compare these two models. I'm hoping that someone will find my knowledge valuable. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy a Flip 5.
